🌊 #017 Feel the Breez
Your agent called. It wants bitcoin.
The shortest month of the year didn’t slow us down. AI agents can now move value autonomously, more new partners went live, and our SDK leveled up 10x. Here’s your recap on the latest at Breez:

The Best Build With Breez 💥
The partners keep rolling in. Each new one means more people with instant, non-custodial bitcoin inside the apps they already love.
First up, Cake Wallet. Lightning is now live in their much-loved multicoin wallet, bringing magic internet money to over one million users. Yep, one million people who can now move value like information around the globe. A piece of cake.
Next up we announced, recent Class of Q4 graduate, Garden. They’ve built one of the go-to bridges for bitcoin swaps, having already moved billions in volume. With the Breez SDK - Spark, those bitcoin swaps are now instant. For a service operating at this scale, it’s a very big deal.
Exolix also joined the party, going from idea to production in two weeks. No more Bitcoin and Lightning headaches, just the Breez SDK and a fortnight of focused work. There’s never been a better time to build.
And finally, remember last month when we announced European neobank, Deblock, bringing bitcoin to 300,000+ Europeans? Well, their CTO, Mario Eguiluz, shared the full story of how they built it. We’ll leave you with the headline for now:
“If you want to offer bitcoin to your users, Breez is the best partner.”
We couldn’t have said it better.
Agents With Wallets 🦞
February saw AI agents take over the internet. Everyone was building them, talking about them, and watching them do things autonomously. Spin up a server? Sure. Browse the web? Easy. But what about move value without a human?
Well, now an OpenClaw skill for the Breez SDK makes it possible (shout out to Rob from Lightning Pay for building it). AI agents can move bitcoin autonomously: instant, borderless, no intermediaries.
Check out the guide to give your agent bitcoin with the Breez SDK.
Breez SDK: A 10x Upgrade ⚡️
Bitcoin in every app doesn’t happen by itself. It happens because developers have the tools to build it. That’s what drives every improvement we make to the Breez SDK: a better DX for builders, a better UX for the people using what they build. February was a busy month on that front. Here’s a selection of what we released:
~10x (🤯) TPS improvement
Buy Bitcoin API via MoonPay
HODL invoice support for Lightning payments
LNURL-verify support
Send all funds to Lightning or BTC addresses
PostgreSQL as a backend option
Concurrent SDK instances with shared storage

Lightning in the Wild Space 👾
This month, we’re ditching the bitcoin savannah and going on an intergalactic expedition.
Bitcoin builder Daniel Modell released Bitari 2100, a retro arcade app with bitcoin baked into the experience. He built the whole thing in two days and the Bitcoin functionality was added in “under 30 minutes”.
That’s what building with the Breez SDK looks like now. Start on Friday. Ship on Sunday.
The only question left is: what are you going to build?
Breez Around the World 🎙️
February saw the Breez team online talking about our favorite topic: bitcoin.
Roy joined Hank on Roxom TV for a conversation on all things Breez: why it exists, how the Breez SDK works, and what the next chapter of value transfer looks like. One for the watch list.
And Danny jumped on Spaces on X with the folks from Exolix and Spark, to do a deep dive on their Lightning-fast integration. How do you go from idea to live product in two weeks? What is building with the Breez SDK actually like? If you’re a developer still deliberating, consider this your nudge.
That’s all for this month, folks.
Remember: the best time to add value transfer is now. It always has been.
See y’all next time ✌️
