🌊 #019 Feel the Breez
Spring is here 🌼
Volatility is now optional. That’s the big headline from April. Spring is here and momentum continues to build, as we push closer to bitcoin in every app. Here’s what happened at Breez over the last 30 days:

Stable Balance: Volatility, Optional 💵
Bitcoin hit $126,000 in October 2025. By February 2026, it was worth half that. Great if you’re hodling. Not so great if you’re trying to spend it today, you’re a merchant pricing a product this afternoon, or you’re trying to send money home to loved ones. Volatility has been one of the last big friction points between bitcoin and everyday money. It’s why people still reach for dollars and stablecoins when they need a balance that sits still.
Stable Balance just fixed that.
Hold your balance in USD, send and receive in bitcoin. Toggle it on, dollars stay dollars. Toggle it off, you’re back to bitcoin. Users just see a balance that sits still, and you can earn yield in sats, paid daily.
Price volatility was one of the last big UX barriers between bitcoin and the mainstream. Now it’s optional.

The Class of Q1 Graduates 🎓
Prediction markets. Loyalty programs. Savings tools. Social media. Neobanks. Swap services. Even a cooking app. This quarter brought another eclectic cohort of builders to the Breez SDK, and the variety is the whole point. There’s no single category. Anywhere value moves, the Breez SDK is showing up to help move it. That’s what bitcoin in every app actually looks like in practice.
A big welcome to BAOMarkets, BitLasso, Cake Wallet, Deblock, Evento, Exolix, Primal, KuteWallet, SwapTrade, Sweep, Wisp, and Zap Cooking.

Building the Future of Bitcoin UX ⚒️
Bitcoin in every app doesn’t happen by itself. It happens because builders have the tools to bring a world-class UX to billions of users. Every Breez SDK release is working towards that goal.
As well as Stable Balance, we also had the notable addition of Cash App as an on-ramp provider. Tens of millions of Americans use Cash App to move their money, and now any app integrating the Breez SDK can plug it straight in for users to instantly fund their bitcoin balance.
Other highlights from April include:
Rotating on-chain deposit addresses: improved privacy by generating a new deposit address for each on-chain payment.
New LNURL server webhook: notify users of incoming payments to their Lightning Address in real time.
Expose pending on-chain deposits: better visibility into incoming funds before claiming.

Lightning in the Wild: Club Orange 🍊
This month, while taking a spring stroll through the bitcoin orchard, we came across Club Orange bringing instant, non-custodial bitcoin to the world’s largest bitcoin-only social network.
To mark the launch, Club Orange CEO Matteo Pellegrino showed the integration in action, effortlessly sending sats from the US to Travel With Bitcoin‘s Anuja in India. Instant. Borderless. Value moving like information. All powered by the Breez SDK.
Viva Las Vegas 🎰
The Bitcoin community descended on Vegas in the last week of April, and Roy closed out the month on the Bitcoin 2026 stage.
He first moderated a panel on Bitcoin’s emerging subnetworks with Ben Carman, Matthew Vuk, Seth for Privacy, and Ethan Marcus, then joined another on the future of Bitcoin UX with Hodl Dee, Bastien Taquet of Satochip, and Ben Kaufman.
Different panels, same conclusion: bitcoin is breaking into the mainstream. For builders that means it’s no longer a matter of if bitcoin, but when bitcoin.
That’s a wrap on April, folks.
See y’all next time ✌️
