Value transfer has a new kind of builder. Coding agents are bringing teams to bitcoin who’d never touched it before, and they’re putting it inside the products people use every day, all over the world. Here’s what happened in October at Breez:

AI Is Eating Software 🤖
Fifteen years ago, Marc Andreessen wrote that software is eating the world. It has. Now AI is eating software, and AI and bitcoin are feeding each other’s rise.
We analyzed close to 1,000 integration requests going back to 2023, and since Claude Code arrived, new integration requests are up 14x. Requests from non-crypto apps are up 5x this year, and it’s accelerating: Q2 came in 61% above Q1.
Another noticeable shift is who’s asking. Before 2025, almost every request came from bitcoiners, crypto developers, or fintechs treating bitcoin as an asset class. Now it’s fitness apps, messengers, an eSIM service for travelers, a mushroom-identification app, and whatever else a developer can dream up. And even more requests don’t come from people at all, but from coding agents writing on behalf of the companies running them.
Many of our new human partners prefer bitcoin for the speed. By the time they’ve opened an account at their local bank and figured out how to deal with cross-border transfers, they probably could have already started turning a profit with bitcoin or stablecoins. Getting ready to accept fiat payments takes weeks, maybe months. With our SDK, you could have become able to send or receive bitcoin, USDT, and USDC from anywhere in the world in about the time it’s taken you to read this far.
For coding agents, speed is just one advantage. Even more important is the fact that bitcoin is permissionless. Agents can build an app and set up its global monetization, letting users send money anywhere at any time, without obtaining anyone’s permission or signing a single form. Bitcoin lets agents build without humans and their petty rules and borders getting in the way.
“AI needs bitcoin because bitcoin accommodates AI.”
We’re past ideology and orange pills, folks. This is electrical sockets and subsea cables now, the kind of infrastructure everybody uses and few think about.
Mathew Di Salvo covered the story for Bitcoin Magazine, or you can read Roy’s full article here.
Open for Business 💼
Bringin already brought everyday bitcoin to Europeans.
This month, they launched Bringin for Business, so now European companies can run on bitcoin too. One account holds bitcoin, stablecoins, and euros, so a company can get paid from another country in seconds, convert to euros, and pay a supplier over SEPA from the same place. Each company controls its own keys, secured by our Turnkey integration.
“As a developer, I’ve loved building with their SDK; it’s been an amazing experience. As a founder, I see Breez as a critical part of our infrastructure.”
That’s what Prashanth Chandrashekar, Bringin’s founder and CEO, had to say about integrating with Breez.

Coffee’s on Us ☕
Last month, we spoke about grabbing a coffee at a trailhead in British Columbia, and paying in bitcoin. This month, the coffee was on us.
We launched Download Glow. Get a Cup of Joe., where we offered 5,000 sats to folks who downloaded Glow, bought a coffee, and posted a photo with their Glow Lightning address. Coffee photos poured in from all over the world (seriously, people really love coffee).
Whether you were awarded sats or not, we recommend you keep exploring. Glow is a bitcoin app, powered by the Breez SDK: users can pay and get paid in bitcoin or dollars from one balance, and developers get a working guide to bring the same to their own product.
Experience what’s possible with Glow.
Lightning in the Wild: Bank On It 🏦
Our friends at Deblock hit a big milestone this month. 500K+ Europeans now have instant bitcoin in the app they bank with. Users can buy or sell in seconds, and every sat they hold is theirs. Boom. Here’s to the next 500,000.

Shoot the Breez Is Back 🎙️
Every week, we sit down with partners to discuss what they’ve been building and their experience with Breez.
First up was episode #012, where Carol Souza told us how she went from the dentist’s chair to teaching 600,000+ followers about bitcoin with Area Bitcoin. Her audience kept asking the same question: if bitcoin is money, why can’t I pay my electricity bill with it? So she built Bro, a peer-to-peer way to pay any bill in Brazil with bitcoin. With no dev background, she shipped it with the Breez SDK and turned months of work into weeks. In her words:
“It wouldn’t be possible to exist Bro if it wasn’t for Breez.”
In episode #013, Jon Gordon, COO and co-founder of SOUND HSA, explained why healthcare is broken because the money is broken. SOUND HSA puts bitcoin inside the health savings account, and their Move to Earn app pays you to walk. Finish a step challenge and the sats land in a non-custodial wallet inside the app, with over 15 million sats paid out so far. I’m taking the stairs from now on…
Away from the podcast, Roy headed to Lugano for Plan ₿ Forum and joined a panel on the new AI threat landscape with Marco Argentieri of Ark Labs, Rob Hamilton of AnchorWatch, Kevin Loaec of Wizardsardine, and Talip of LX Research Labs, moderated by Bitcoin Magazine’s Aaron Van Wirdum.
Meanwhile, Maria was in Singapore for TOKEN2049, helping teams join the 100+ apps and services adding instant bitcoin and stablecoins with Breez.
That’s October, folks.
The best time to add instant bitcoin and stablecoins to your product is now.
